Common use of Professional Development and Preparation Days Clause in Contracts

Professional Development and Preparation Days. The FTE contractual obligation remaining will be allocated to professional development and/ or preparation days as outlined in the Professional Development (PD) and Preparation Days calendar prepared by Professional Council. Required attendance days will be determined by the supervisor with input from the employee. The part time staff member and his/her supervisor should, when allocating the remaining contractual obligation work days, be mindful of re-licensure requirements.
