Professional Leave/Special Grants. The Board authorizes the Superintendent/designee to award special grants to qualified school- based and county-based employees who are assigned to the TSP salary schedule. The purpose of the grants is to enhance the ability of the affected employee(s) to carry out their responsibilities in a manner that will improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of the Broward County Public Schools.
