Employee Reimbursement. 1. If employees are attacked or assaulted, victims of theft or vandalism in the course of employment, the District will insure or otherwise reimburse such employees for any loss, damage or destruction of clothing or personal property up to two hundred fifty dollars ($250) per employee per school upon verification to the supervisor, unless the employee is otherwise reimbursed. 2. Any individual submitting a fraudulent claim under this provision shall be subject to corrective action up to and including termination. 3. The District’s maximum liability under this section is $3,000 annually.

If an employee’s vehicle is damaged as a result of vandalism while on a work location, the employee will be reimbursed for the damage in the amount of their automobile insurance deductible not to exceed seven hundred fifty dollars ($750) when there is reasonable cause to believe that the act of vandalism was caused on such property. 3. The Board’s maximum liability under this section is seven thousand dollars ($7,000) annually.
Employee Reimbursement. 32.3.1 The District agrees to pay the entire cost of physical examinations required by the State for bus drivers to maintain their commercial driver’s license, if the employees utilize a doctor designated by the District. If the employee elects to utilize her/his own physician, the employee shall pay for any costs of the physical examination above $50.00. 32.3.2 Drivers shall be paid for eight (8) hours while on overnight field trips on days during which they are not driving. For days that they are driving while on overnight field trips, their paid time shall start when they depart from the District until they reach their destination or from the time they depart from the destination until they return to the District, but they shall be paid a minimum of eight hours for said days. Bus drivers shall be reimbursed for the cost of meals when an additional run exceeds 4 hours in duration on site at a rate not to exceed $17.00 for breakfast, $17.00 for lunch and $18.00 for dinner. Drivers must submit a receipt for actual expenses. Drivers shall be paid for eight (8) hours while on overnight field trips on days during which they are not driving. Employee Reimbursement. The Board will repair or reimburse employees the current value of any clothing or other personal property damaged or destroyed as the result of assault or battery upon him/her suffered in the course of the legal performance of his/her assigned duties unless such loss is covered by insurance or reimbursement is obtained from other sources. Employees may be reimbursed for personal property damaged or destroyed in a verifiable job related accident when such reimbursement is approved by the immediate supervisor. The repair or reimbursement of personal property does not apply to clothing or personal property that is not reasonably related and appropriate to an employee’s assignment such as expensive jewelry (other than wedding and engagement rings), expensive watches, electronic devices such as cell phones, high- fashioned clothing, etc. Forms for reimbursement are available from the Risk Management Office.

Lodging will be reimbursed at the current state lodging rates. All meal and lodging reimbursement requests must be submitted to the Chief and must be accompanied with a receipt. On occasion, an event attended by an employee may include a meal which has a cost that exceeds the amount established above. If the meal is a required part of the event and the employee does not have the option to forego the meal, then the EMS will pay the full cost of the meal so long as the expenditure is approved by the Chief in advance.
Employee Reimbursement. If an employee leaves the employment of the City for reasons other than a disability pension, layoff or termination within four (4) years of completing basic law enforcement training paid for in whole or in part by the City, then the employee shall reimburse the City for the full cost of such training, including tuition, books, lodging and travel expenses.
