Common use of PROFICIENCY Clause in Contracts

PROFICIENCY. Supervisors will assure themselves that employees to be utilized as acting officers are proficient in all areas to perform the duties. An employee who will not be utilized as an acting officer shall be notified in writing of the deficiencies in his/her skills, abilities, or work performance. Employees will be afforded a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) upon request.
