PROGRESSION ON A SCALE. a) An employee’s progression on the relevant pay scale shall be on an annual basis on the employee’s anniversary date, subject to competent performance. b) Employees shall have annual performance reviews against written position / job descriptions or other appropriate performance standards. c) An early childhood teaching assistant in training may not move from one in-training step to another without providing, at the completion of each training year, evidence of continued training.
