- Progression on the Wage Grid. (The following clause is applicable to part-time employees only) Part-time employees, including casual employees, shall accumulate service for the purpose of progression on the wage grid, on the basis of one year for each 1725 hours worked. 20.07 - Retroactivity Retroactive pay will be paid on a separate cheque where the existing payroll system allows. Where the existing payroll system does not allow for such separate cheque, the Hospital will supply the employee with a detailed explanation of the retroactive pay calculations. Retroactivity will be paid for all hours paid by the Employer to all eligible employees on the payroll as of the expiry date of the Agreement and to all new employees hired since that date. Retroactivity will be paid within 60 days of the Employer being notified of ratification/arbitration award. If an eligible employee has terminated his/her employment since the expiry date of the Agreement, the Employer shall advise the employee within 30 days by notice in writing by registered mail to the last known address on the records of the Employer and the employee shall have sixty (60) days from the posting within which to claim any payment due to him/her. The retroactivity due will be paid within two pay periods (bi-weekly) of the employee making such claim.
