Uniform Allowance. ‌ If the Employer requires an employee to supply and/or maintain specified clothing in place of a uniform which would otherwise be supplied and maintained for jobs involving the direct care of patients/residents, then a clothing/maintenance allowance of ten dollars ($10.00) per bi-weekly pay period shall be paid. This allowance does not apply to non-patient/non-resident areas.

Uniform Allowance. Where uniforms are required, the Hospital shall either supply and launder uniforms or provide a uniform allowance of per year in a lump sum payment in the first pay period of November of each year.
Uniform Allowance. (a) The Employer agrees to pay a uniform allowance of seven cents ($0.07) per hour, such amount not to form part of the regular hourly rate for purposes of overtime and paid holiday premiums. (b) The uniform allowance will not be paid on each cheque but will be accumulated and the total annual accumulation will be paid by the last pay period in December of each year. (c) When an employee leaves the employ of the Home, she shall receive her accumulated uniform allowance as part of her separation cheque.
Uniform Allowance. 23.01 All newly hired probationary employees shall be provided a sufficient number of uniforms as determined by the Employer within thirty (30) days of his date of appointment, providing such uniforms remain the Employer's property and are returned to the Employer if the employee fails to complete his probationary period. Upon completion of the probationary period, the employee shall receive a uniform allowance and payable as set forth in Section 23.02. 23.02 Each non-probationary employee shall receive a uniform allowance in the amount of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) each year of the Agreement, payable in equal increments in first pay period in January and first pay period in July each calendar year. 23.03 Items of equipment or clothing necessary to job performance which are damaged, lost or destroyed while on duty that belong to the employee, shall be replaced or repaired at the Employer's expense, not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) per man, per year, and only after approval of the Chief and the Safety Director. Items of clothing or equipment paid for by the Employer through an individual's purchase order shall be exempt from this provision. 23.04 Any employee assigned motorcycle duty or to the S.E.B. unit shall be paid Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) in additional uniform allowance. 23.05 The Employer shall contribute up to Eight Hundred Fifty Dollars ($850.00) towards the cost of individual bullet proof vests providing that such individual(s) receiving such contribution shall be required to wear the vest or refund such monies to the Employer. Vests will be replaced every five (5) years or as approved by the Employer. The Union shall provide the Employer with three (3) approved vendors which employees must utilize to obtain bulletproof vests. This provision is effective upon execution of the Agreement in 2007. Employees not requesting such a contribution shall not be required to wear a vest, provided such employees sign a waiver attesting to their knowledge and rejection of such contribution and releasing the Employer from any liability resulting therefrom.
Uniform Allowance. Employees who are required to maintain uniforms shall be paid a uniform allowance for the proper maintenance of uniforms. a. The allowance shall be twenty dollars ($20.00) per week, computed from Monday at 12:00 a.m. through Sunday at 11:59 p.m. b. Uniform allowance shall be payable biweekly with the employee's regular pay. There shall be no pro-rating of uniform allowance. c. Uniform allowance shall not be paid to employees who are on leave without pay, commencing with the first full pay period of absence.

Uniform Allowance. A. Each permanent full-time or part-time employee, if required to wear a uniform and such uniform is not furnished by the City, shall receive a bi- weekly uniform maintenance allowance of $27.70. If, during the term of this Agreement, the uniform allowance provided to any employees in a unit composed of subordinates to employees in this bargaining unit exceeds a bi-weekly amount of $27.70, the employees in this bargaining unit shall receive the higher amount. B. In addition to a continuation of the current bi-weekly uniform allowance described in Subsection A. above, the City will provide one new uniform each fiscal year for employees occupying the following job classifications in the Police Department, provided that the employees are required to wear a uniform: Animal Care and Control Supervisor, Crossing Guard Supervisor, Forensic Section Supervisor, Jail Supervisor, Police Records Supervisor, Police Services Management Supervisor, Property/Evidence Supervisor, Public Services Supervisor, and Traffic Services Supervisor. In addition, provided that receipts are presented for approval at the time of purchase to the Police Captain supervising their division, the City will reimburse employees in the classifications covered in the above paragraph, for the necessary replacement of two uniform shirts and pants, or, in lieu thereof, other department pre-approved equipment of equal value annually and one uniform jacket every three years. In addition, if the employee can demonstrate that additional uniform items need to be replaced and the employee receives pre-approval from the Police Captain supervising their division, the employee will be reimbursed for the purchase of those additional uniform items upon submittal of receipts for those items. This includes department-required boots or shoes. If an employee covered by this section assumes a different position in one of the other job classifications covered by Subsection B., the City shall provide the employee with the uniform and equipment required for the position, as specified by management. If an employee covered by Subsection B. assumes a different work assignment in his/her current job classification, the City shall provide the employee with any new uniform and equipment items required for that work assignment, as specified by management. Uniform Allowance. An employee who is required to wear a uniform not supplied by the Employer, shall receive a uniform or clothing allowance in the amount of one hundred and seventy-five dollars ($175) which shall be paid on the first pay period in December or upon termination on a prorated basis in accordance with clause 23.01 the employer shall notify employees by January of any year in which the Employer intends to discontinue the payment of the uniform allowance.
