Common use of Prohibition for Use with Outside Employment Clause in Contracts

Prohibition for Use with Outside Employment. No sick leave shall be allowed for time off for an injury incurred while working for another employer, provided that such injury is covered by the Workers' Compensation laws of the State of California, or other provision for payment for time off because of such injury is made by such other employer. In the event such injury is not covered by the Workers' Compensation laws of the State of California and no other provision for payment for time off because of injury is made by such other employer, sick leave in accordance with the provisions of this Section shall be allowed only if such outside employment has been approved by the City.
