Prohibition of Double Compensation for Vacancies. The Owner is not entitled to payments for vacant units to the extent it can collect for the vacancy from other sources (such as security deposits, other amounts collected from the Family, payments from the CA under section 2.7(b), and governmental payments under other programs). If the Owner collects any of the Family's share of the rent for a vacancy period in an amount which, when added to the vacancy payment, results in more than the Contract Rent, the excess must be reimbursed as HUD directs.

Prohibition of Double Compensation for Vacancies. The Owner is not entitled to payments for SPRAC payments pursuant to section 2.8(b) of this SPRAC if the Owner collects amounts to offset this SPRAC Rent from any other sources, including but not limited to Family’s security deposits, other amounts collected from the Family, and payments received from any other public or private source.
