Common use of Project Meetings Clause in Contracts

Project Meetings. Prior to the commencement of Work, the Contractor shall attend a preconstruction conference with the Engineer and others as appropriate to discuss the Progress Schedule, procedures for handling shop drawings and other submittals, and for processing Applications for Payment, and to establish a working understanding among the parties as to the Work. During the prosecution of the Work, the Contractor shall attend any and all meetings convened by the County with respect to the Project, when directed to do so by the County. Contractor shall have its subcontractors and suppliers attend all such meetings (including the preconstruction conference) as may be directed by the County.
