Common use of Project Safety Clause in Contracts

Project Safety. The Contractor will be responsible for safety at the Project site and will follow all applicable safety and health regulations during the progress of the Project and will monitor all of its employees and its subcontractors for compliance with such safety and health regulations. In undertaking the responsibilities set forth in this Paragraph, the Contractor does not assume any duty or responsibility to the employees of any subcontractor or supplier, regardless of tier. The Owner assumes no responsibility for the development, review, or implementation of the any Project safety plan or for Project safety and has no authority to direct the means and methods of the Contractor.
