Promotion from Instructor to Assistant Professor. 13.5.1 The formal notice of appointment from the Xxxx to a new Instructor shall specify a time, not to exceed one (1) year from the date of the initial appointment, by which the terminal degree must be completed. If the degree is completed during that time, the Xxxx shall have the authority to recommend to the President a change in title from Instructor to Assistant Professor.
