President’s Leave. The Employer shall authorize a leave of absence with pay for the President of the Association. The leave of absence with pay shall be taken for a two-year period beginning two (2) weeks after written notice by the Association to the Bureau of Employee Relations and the newly-elected President’s agency. During such leave of absence with pay, the President shall continue to receive and retain all of his/her wages, rights, benefits, and seniority as a state employee except that all leave accumulation shall be frozen for the duration of the leave of absence. Upon returning from the leave of absence, the President shall resume earning leave at the rates appropriate to his/her service at the time of return. The Employer agrees that there shall be no action taken with respect to the President or the President’s state position prior to or following his/her return from the leave of absence because of his/her legal union activities. The Association agrees to reimburse the Employer for the full cost of the wages and benefits for the President, and to indemnify the Employer against any and all liabilities associated with the leave of absence, including but not limited to workers' compensation.
President’s Leave. The CCSNH shall authorize a leave of absence with pay for the President of the State Employees’ Association of New Hampshire, Inc., SEIU Local 1984. The leave of absence with pay shall be taken for a two-year period beginning two (2) weeks after written notice by the Association to the Chancellor and the Director of Human Resources. During such leave of absence with pay, the President shall continue to receive and retain all of his/her wages, rights, benefits, and seniority as a CCSNH employee except that all leave accumulation shall be frozen for the duration of the leave of absence. Upon returning from the leave of absence, the President shall resume earning leave at the rates appropriate to his/her service at the time of return. The CCSNH agrees that there shall be no action taken with respect to the President or the President’s CCSNH position prior to or following his/her return from the leave of absence because of his/her legal union activities. The Association agrees to reimburse the CCSNH for the full cost of the wages and benefits for the President, and to indemnify the CCSNH against any and all liabilities associated with the leave of absence, including but not limited to workers' compensation.
President’s Leave. The President of the Local, or his/her designee shall be allowed a cumulative total of 416 hours off per year without loss of time or pay for the purpose of attending meetings, conventions, conferences relative to labor relations and legislative appearances.
President’s Leave. A President of the Local Union who is elected to take office 100% of the time, shall be granted a leave to assume presidential duties by the Board. The Board will continue to pay the President their salary and to provide benefits as specified in the Agreement. The Union will reimburse the Board monthly for all salary and benefits costs. For purposes of pension, experience, sick leave and seniority, the President shall be deemed to be in the full employ of the Board. The President shall inform the Board of the number of days or partial days, if any, that the employee was absent from presidential duties. Such days or partial days shall be deducted from the President’s accumulated sick leave or vacation credits. Upon return from leave, the President has the option of returning to the position vacated or another position secured through posting.
President’s Leave. The President of the Association shall be granted a leave of absence for Association business. The Association shall reimburse the District at one-half the average teacher salary for each day of leave. On any school day that the District does not have sufficient substitutes to meet the needs of the District, the Association's President shall report for a substitute assignment as directed by the District.
President’s Leave. Upon application, in writing, by the Association on behalf of the Nurse to the Employer, a leave of absence shall be granted to such Nurse elected to the office of President of the Ontario Nurses' Association for a period of two (2) years. Such nurse may reapply for subsequent two (2) year terms and such application shall not be unreasonably denied. The Nurse shall continue to accrue seniority and service during her absence. During such leave of absence, the Nurse's salary and applicable benefits shall be maintained by the Employer, and the Association agrees to reimburse the Employer in the amount of the full costs of such salary and applicable benefits. The Nurse agrees to notify the Employer of her intention to return to work at least four
President’s Leave. The ETA President will work forty percent (40%) of a full-time assignment for the Evergreen School District, and shall be released sixty percent (60%) of a full-time assignment without loss of pay or benefits, on a shared contract, to conduct Association business. The Association shall reimburse the District for the total cost of the Association President.
President’s Leave. The Association President shall, with notification to the Superintendent and Building Principal or Building Supervisor at least one (1) day in advance, be granted a maximum of three (3) days’ leave with pay per school year to conduct Association business.
President’s Leave. 21.1 A teacher elected to the position of president of the Association shall be granted leave of absence from teaching duties for up to one (1) year, at the request of the Association. Requests for such leave shall be in writing and received by the Superintendent of Schools prior to May 31st for the subsequent school year.
21.2 The Board shall pay the president's salary and provide benefits as specified in the Agreement. The Association shall reimburse the Board for one hundred percent (100%) of such salary and benefits‟ costs upon receipt of a monthly statement.
21.3 For purposes of pensions, experience, sick leave and seniority, the president shall be deemed to be in the full employ of the Board.
21.4 The president shall inform the Board of the number of days or partial days, if any, of absence from presidential duties due to illness. Such days or partial days shall be deducted from the president's accumulated sick leave credits.
21.5 The teacher returning to full teaching duties from a term or terms as president shall be assigned to the position held prior to the release or to another position which is acceptable to the teacher.
21.6 In the event of the illness of the president in excess of five (5) teaching days, this Article shall apply to a teacher appointed to replace the president for the duration of the illness.
President’s Leave. The Association and the Board agree that the Association president shall be released full-time from his/her duties to fulfill certain obligations as president of the Association. The replacement for the president will be hired on regular contract with all the benefits defined in this Agreement. The Association shall reimburse the Board for the cost of the Association president’s released time by paying a share, equal to one-half the released time, of the salary, other money expenses related to employment of the Association president as a teacher, fringe benefits, and co- curricular stipends. The Board shall pay, in full, all ECA stipends for services rendered while serving as president. Further, the ETA shall pay, in full, all ECA stipends if the ETA decides to pay the ECA stipends for services rendered by the president at the time of his/her election. In all of the above cases, the total expenses shall be included in the salary reported to Indiana Public Retirement System. Upon return from the leave provided for in this section, the Board will allow the teacher the option to return to his/her original school. In the event such position no longer exists, the teacher will be assigned a comparable teaching position or assignment.
