Common use of Promotion Clause in Contracts

Promotion. Movement of an employee to another position in another class of employment in which the maximum of the salary scale is higher than that of the class of employment he or she is leaving or in a class of employment remunerated according to a single salary rate in which the rate is higher than that of the class of employment he or she is leaving.

Promotion. Movement of an employee from one position to another position in another class of employment in which the maximum of the salary scale is higher than that of the class of employment he or she is leaving or in a class of employment remunerated according to a single salary rate in which the rate is higher than that of the class of employment he or she is leaving.

Promotion.
