Promotional Interviews. When an appointing authority receives a certified list of eligibles from the Human Resources Director to fill a regular-help position by promotion, the appointing authority shall interview each of the eligibles on the list that is available and interested in the position before making a final selection for the position.

Promotional Interviews. Employees shall be granted administrative leave, when possible, to participate in promotional interviews and promotional interviews for positions within the department. Approval will be by the facility head at the work location, following a determination that adequate staff is maintained at the work site. Appropriate travel time, occurring during normal work hours, will be considered at the granting of administrative leave.
Promotional Interviews. The Union is entitled to select a member ofthe Union's Executive Board to be present at all interviews for Department promotions for positions to be staffed and held by Union members, excluding the Chief and Assistant Chief positions. It is understood that the Union Observer's participation is only to ensure that interviews are conducted in a consistent manner; that the Union Observer will have no input with respect to the promotion(s); that any potential questions that the Union Observer has must be submitted in advance to the Employer Interview Committee; and if the Union Observer is under consideration for a promotion, he/she will not be permitted to observe the interviews of other candidates eligible for the same promotion. Promotional Interviews. An employee who has applied for a vacant position shall be selected for an interview if the yare in the top 25% of the applications and relevant materials scored by the Library.
Promotional Interviews. Interviews will be conducted for all eligibles certified for promotion from one position within the bargaining unit to & higher level position within the bargaining unit when practical. The foregoing does not apply to career advancement promotions.
Promotional Interviews. CSEA shall have a right to participate in the promotional interview process. The District will provide five (5) working days advance notice to the CSEA Chapter President of the interview. The Chapter President, or designee(s), shall select a CSEA panel member to participate on the panel. If CSEA does not identify a panel member, or the appointee does not attend the interview, the interview may proceed as scheduled.
