The employee agrees to comply with the Work Schedule and Leave Policy while teleworking, including clocking in and out at the beginning and end of the telework day. The functional line manager will ensure that the Secondee’s work patterns comply with the Working Time Regulations 1998. [In the case of Chief Officer grades] The Secondee may be required to work flexibly and such additional hours as may from time to time be reasonable and necessary for the effective performance of the duties and this would not attract time off in lieu or additional payment. The Secondee will be expected to use any annual leave entitlement accrued during the secondment period prior to the end of that period. Where this is not possible for organisational reasons within the CRC, NOMS will invoice the CRC for the cost of any accrued but untaken annual leave outstanding at the end date of the secondment period. If during the secondment period the Secondee takes annual leave in excess of the entitlement earned during that period, the CRC may recover from NOMS the cost of such excess leave by deduction from the Secondee’s employment costs reimbursed under paragraph 12 of this Agreement. The Secondee’s requests for annual leave will be considered and authorised by the functional line manager. For the avoidance of doubt, the Secondee is also entitled to any leave in respect of those privilege days granted to civil servants. In the event of sickness absence, the Secondee will be expected to notify the CRC’s functional line manager in line with CRC local procedures. The functional line manager will provide NOMS with records of annual leave on a quarterly basis, and sickness absence documentation following any periods of sick absence. Attendance and Leave. 7.1 HOLIDAY OBSERVANCE - Employees will be guaranteed twelve (12) paid holidays as indicated: New Year’s Day Columbus Day Memorial Day Thanksgiving Day Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx’x Birthday Election Day Independence Day Christmas Day Washington’s Birthday Veterans’ Day Labor Day Plus one floating holiday. Celebration of holidays shall coincide with County designation unless changed by a Town Board Resolution.
