Promotional Order. Any employee in the bargaining unit who files for the vacancy during the posting period and is qualified shall be promoted into the vacant position. If two (2) or more employees who file have the same qualifications, the employee with the greatest bargaining unit seniority shall be the one promoted. In the event that two (2) or more employees have identical seniority, the employee to fill the position shall be selected by the District.
