Common use of Promotional Order Clause in Contracts

Promotional Order. Any employee in the bargaining unit who files for the vacancy during the posting period and meets the minimum qualification shall be promoted into the vacant position. If two (2) or more bargaining unit employee who file meet the minimum qualification, the Superintendent shall give special consideration to seniority.
