Promotional Trial Service Period. 5.1.2 Vacancies Caused By Leave of Absence: A temporary position opened by an employee who is on leave of absence for more than forty-five (45) work days will be posted in-district for five (5) work days. Interested employees may submit a letter of interest to Human Resources. Employees who are not currently working under a Plan of Improvement may apply. If there is more than one employee requesting the position, then classification seniority will be the determining factor. If an existing employee accepts a temporary position they will be able to return to their original position once the temporary position ends.
