Position Postings. When a non-bargaining unit position becomes available in the police department because of retirement, resignation, transfer, separation or the creation of an additional position and the University decides to fill such vacancy, the vacancy and minimum qualifications established solely by the University, including any required testing, will be posted.
Position Postings. Open and new positions shall be posted in all buildings and departments. Posting may be through the District email forum. Open and new positions posted shall be emailed to identified SEIU labor leaders, or designee, to be posted in buildings and departments.
5.2.1 Regular School Year Employees who are currently qualified according to the attached Appendix B may apply for a posted position by following the Districts employment application procedure.
Position Postings. All vacant positions shall be posted within ten (10) working days. These positions shall be filled by Education Assistants.
Position Postings. Positions posted after July 1, 1998, may be stated on a weekly number of hours for which an employee will be assigned and paid for, and will include an anticipated start time each day.
Position Postings. Position vacancies shall be sent via email to all staff. Position vacancies will be posted on the public drive for a period of five (5) work days before it is filled on a regular basis. Qualifications for vacant positions shall appear on the position announcement and shall be based on job requirements. The Employer will copy the job posting to the Union and the Chief Xxxxxxx at the time it is processed.
Position Postings. 9.1 Vacancies within the bargaining unit for full-time, part-time and temporary positions shall be posted not less than seven (7) calendar days in advance of making an appointment.
9.2 Where circumstances require DynaLIFE to fill a posted vacancy before the expiry of seven (7) calendar days, the appointment shall be made on a temporary or relief basis only.
9.3 The notice of posting shall contain the following information:
(i) duties of the position;
(ii) qualifications required;
(iii) assigned FTE;
(iv) status of position, and expected term if a temporary position;
(v) wage range in the collective agreement;
(vi) for information purposes only the site(s) where the vacancies exist.
9.4 When all else is bona fide adjudged by DynaLIFE to be relatively equal between an internal and an external candidate, the internal candidate will receive preference on a posting.
9.5 DynaLIFE shall forward copies of the postings for vacancies for all positions within the bargaining unit to the Union office within seven (7) calendar days of the posting.
9.6 Where a vacancy for a temporary position has been filled by the appointment of a regular full-time or part-time Employee, and where, at the completion of the expected term of the temporary position, DynaLIFE decides that the Employee is no longer required in that position, she shall be reinstated in her former position. If such reinstatement is not possible, the Employee shall be placed in another suitable position. Such reinstatement or placement shall be without loss of seniority and at not less than the same rate of pay to which the Employee would be entitled had she remained in her former position. The reinstatement or placement of an Employee shall not be construed as a violation of the posting provisions.
9.7 During the term of the temporary position, the incumbent Employee shall not be eligible to apply for other temporary positions that commence before the current temporary position ends unless otherwise mutually agreed. The Employer shall notify the Employee of this provision at the time of hire to a Temporary position.
9.8 Once a vacancy has been posted and selected and the successful internal candidate accepts the transfer, the employee will remain in the position for not less than nine hundred and seventy five (975) worked hours unless:
(i) A regular part-time employee secures a regular position of increased FTE;
(ii) A casual employee secures a regular or temporary position;
(iii) A position results in a chang...
Position Postings. When a vacancy occurs the vacancy will be posted on the Company bulletin board for a period of four (4) calendar days. The posting will include the general accountability for the role, the required qualifications, and the closing date. Applications must be submitted to the Hatchery Manager or their designate by the end of the business day of the closing date. If the qualified applicants are relatively equal, the most senior applicant will be selected. The employee will serve a trial period of thirty (30) working days in the new position. Where the successful applicant is an existing employee, the employee will receive the closest pay rate for the position that is higher until they have demonstrated proficiency in the job at which point they will move to the rate of pay equivalent to their total length of service with the Company. For newly hired employees, the rate of pay will be at the Start Rate unless they have recent related experience in the position.
Position Postings. 1. For purposes of job postings, stock room, shipping, quality team, maintenance, ARC, the finishing lab, and the surfacing lab shall each be considered separate departments. Where a bargaining unit vacancy occurs, the Company shall make a determination whether to fill it, in which event the Company will first offer the position to department members at the same skill level. If no one within the department at the same skill level wants the position, or the move creates an opening, then the Company shall post the vacancy electronically for three (3) consecutive business days using the Company’s recruitment management system. The Company will ensure that all bargaining unit members receive notification of the opening through its HRIS software app. If an associate wishes to be considered for a job opening, they must submit a bid (electronic or hard copy) for the job to the Human Resources Department, or their designee, within the prescribed posting period.
3. a) Non-mechanic posted positions will be awarded to the most senior associate in the bargaining unit who (i) meets the minimum qualifications of the job as defined in the responsibility description, (ii) does not have a current second written or final discipline warning under Article 19 on his/her record, and (iii) whose attendance, disciplinary history, experience, and past performance are acceptable to the Company. The Company will not exercise its judgment in an arbitrary or capricious manner. The Company will provide the Xxxxxxx with the justification for denying a senior bidder in writing within 5 business days after awarding the position.
Position Postings. Positions will be posted on the Human Resources website for at least fourteen (14) calendar days. The posting will include a job summary, position requirements, salary range and assigned work schedule.
