Common use of Proof of Just Cause Clause in Contracts

Proof of Just Cause. In all cases of suspension or discharge or other disciplinary actions, the burden of proof of just cause shall rest with the University. In the case of a probationary employee, just cause shall include failure to display sufficient ability to perform the job satisfactorily.
