Property Management Standards. The Sub-Recipient agrees to observe Federal Government uniform standards governing the utilization of property whose cost was charged to a project supported by a Federal grant.
Property Management Standards. The awardee shall maintain a property management system that, at a minimum, meets the requirements of 2 CFR § 200.313(d). Because of increasing threats to information technology systems, the awardee is reminded that, under 2 CFR §§ 200.313(d)(3) and (4), "[a] control system must be developed to ensure adequate safeguards to prevent loss, damage, or theft of the property" and "[a]dequate maintenance procedures must be developed to keep the property in good condition." This requirement imposes on the awardee a duty to adequately maintain and to insure adequate safeguards against the loss, damage, or theft of information technology equipment and systems purchased with NSF funds.
Property Management Standards. Property furnished by the Department or acquired in whole or in part with Federal or Department funds, or whose cost was charged to a project supported by Federal or Department funds, shall be utilized and disposed of in a manner consistent with State and/or Federal requirements, as applicable.

Because of increasing threats to information technology systems, the grantee is reminded that, under 2 CFR sections 215.34.(f). (4) and (5), "[a] control system shall be in effect to insure adequate safeguards to prevent loss, damage, or theft of the equipment" and "[a]dequate maintenance procedures shall be implemented to keep the equipment in good condition." This requirement imposes on the grantee a duty to adequately maintain and to insure adequate safeguards against the loss, damage, or theft of information technology equipment and systems purchased with NSF funds.

The awardee shall maintain a property management system that, at a minimum, meets the requirements of 2 CFR §200.313(d) , which requires a physical inventory every two years , ensures adequate safeguards to prevent loss, damage, or theft of the property, and provides for maintenance procedures to keep the property in good condition.

Institutions and administering agencies shall follow the policies and procedures governing title, use, and disposition of equipment obtained by purchase, whose cost was acquired in whole or part with food service equipment assistance funds in accordance with 2 CFR §200, as applicable.
