Protected Seniority Sample Clauses

The Protected Seniority clause establishes that certain individuals or positions retain their seniority status regardless of changes in employment conditions or organizational restructuring. In practice, this means that employees covered by the clause will not lose their accrued seniority due to events such as department transfers, mergers, or temporary layoffs. This clause serves to safeguard employees' rights to benefits, promotions, or job security that are tied to their length of service, thereby providing stability and protecting against potential disadvantages arising from organizational changes.
