Protected Species Wildlife and Habitat‌. Analysis and Report: The CONSULTANT will perform research, field reviews, survey, and coordination necessary to determine Project involvement with and potential impacts to federal and state protected, threatened or endangered species and their habitats. Additionally, the CONSULTANT will develop a study design (which will be approved by the COUNTY) to evaluate the magnitude of Project involvement with wildlife and their habitat. If required, the CONSULTANT will prepare the Biological Assessment as a part of the NRE. The CONSULTANT will assess project’s potential impacts to wildlife and habitat in accordance with Part 2, Chapter 16 of the PD&E Manual. The CONSULTANT will assist the COUNTY in consultations, if required. Conservation Measures and Mitigation Plan: The COUNTY Project Manager will provide a description of the habitat conservation measures to be considered. The CONSULTANT will provide an analysis of wildlife and habitat conservation measures.
