Common use of Protection of Municipal Property Clause in Contracts

Protection of Municipal Property. 17. The Purchaser shall not do or omit to do anything on any part of the said Lands which will interfere with or cause damage to any service installed or to be installed on any part of the said Lands or on any Municipally-owned property adjacent thereto, which services include, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, roads, ditches, drains, sidewalks, grade stakes, gas lines, water lines, water boxes, telephone boxes and hydro electric works. Any such damage may be corrected by the Municipality at the expense of the Purchaser and the Municipality shall have an immediate right of entry for the purpose of undertaking such work. All costs incurred in effecting such repairs may be added to the tax roll for the Lands. UFFI
