If approved by the insurance underwriters and if there is no increased cost in premium to the Board, a Teacher who retires from the Board prior to age 65 may retain member- ship in any of the Group Benefit Plans to which the Teacher belongs at the time of retirement until the Teacher attains the age of 65 years.
