Notice of Retirement. (a) If an Employee gives the Board an irrevocable notice of retirement by October 1st three (3) years prior to the year of retirement, the Board shall pay him/her a six percent (6%) retirement incentive, inclusive of any other increases in compensation for each of his/her remaining three years of service.
(b) If an Employee gives the Board an irrevocable notice of retirement by October 1st two (2) years prior to the year of retirement, the Board shall pay him/her a six percent (6%) retirement incentive, inclusive of any other increase in compensation, for each of his/her remaining years of service.
(c) If an Employee gives the Board an irrevocable notice of retirement by October 1st one (1) year prior to the year of retirement, the Board shall pay him/her a six percent (6%) retirement incentive, inclusive of any other increase in compensation, for each of his/her remaining year of service.
Notice of Retirement. A teacher desiring to retire at the close of any given school year should attempt to notify the superintendent by March 1st of that retirement year.
Notice of Retirement. Faculty members are advised to give the College at least three (3) months notice of their intention to retire from the College.

Notice of Retirement. An employee planning to retire should give written notice of intent to retire to her/his immediate supervisor and the Department of Human Resources at the earliest date possible, but not less than thirty (30) calendar days before termination of service.
Notice of Retirement. Retirement shall be effected only by a written notice given by the Executive in accordance with this Section 14 (a "Notice of Retirement"). Any Notice of Retirement shall (i) indicate that it is a Notice of Retirement and (ii) specify an effective date (the "Date of Retirement) which shall not be less than six months after such notice is given.

Employees must notify the Board, in writing, thirty (30) days prior to retirement, except in cases of medical or disability retirement or such other unplanned or unanticipated event which results in less than thirty (30) days notice, of the employee’s intention to retire. This notification is required in order to be eligible for payment for unused accumulated sick leave as set forth in paragraph “F” above.
A. Hours of Work
Notice of Retirement. Teachers notifying the Human Resources office of their end of the year retirement by March 1 will receive a $250.00 stipend.
