Provisional Bookings. 2.1 Birkbeck may permit the Client to make a provisional booking which may be cancelled by the Client within 5 working days of the date the provisional booking is made without penalty. Any provisional bookings not confirmed by the Client within 5 working days shall be deemed to be cancelled.

Provisional Bookings. A Booking is provisional only until a Booking Contract signed by the Hirer, together with any payment or deposit then due, is received and countersigned by the University. Acceptance of payment and signature by the University constitutes conclusion of the Agreement. Following the receipt of the booking request, the Hirer will be issued with the Booking Contract and Conditions for signature and return. If these are not signed, returned and received by the University within 14 days or any payment or deposit is not paid when due, any Facilities provisionally reserved for the Hirer will be automatically released. Prior to conclusion of the Agreement, the University reserves the right, exercisable in its discretion, to cancel a provisional booking at any time and for any reason or to solicit and take other bookings for the relevant Facilities.

Cranfield Conference Centre Limited may agree to you making a provisional booking which will be held for no longer than 14 days, providing the booking start date does not commence within the next 2 months. You may cancel provisional bookings without penalty. Cranfield Conference Centre Ltd reserves the right to remove any provisional bookings should we not be able to make contact with you. Your booking is considered provisional until receipt of a signed contract and any required deposits.

When a booking is not confirmed after 7-days, the club may re-book that date and time.
Provisional Bookings. YMCA Birmingham may agree to You making a provisional booking. You may cancel provisional bookings without penalty. If you do not confirm your provisional booking we reserve the right to cancel it, but will endeavour to give you 24 hours’ notice.

2.1 If the Manager agrees, the Hirer may make a provisional booking, for the purposes of which, the Hirer must provide full contact details including telephone and fax numbers and email address when making a provisional booking along with details of the proposed Event to the satisfaction of the Manager.
2.2 At the end of the Provisional Hold Period, the Manager will normally contact the Hirer to invite the Hirer to make a Confirmed Booking in accordance with clause 3. If a Confirmed Booking is not made within 3 Working Days of the Hirer being contacted by the Manager the provisional booking will be cancelled unless it is extended under clause 2.3.
2.3 The Manager may at its absolute discretion decide to extend the Provisional Hold Period for a further period as communicated to the Hirer. At the end of this period, the Manager may contact the Hirer to invite the Hirer to make a Confirmed Booking in accordance with clause 3. If a Confirmed Booking is not made within 3 Working Days of the Hirer being contacted by the Manager, the provisional booking will be cancelled.
2.4 Notwithstanding the above, a provisional booking does not create a contract and the Manager reserves the right to cancel a provisional booking at any time during or after the Provisional Hold Period without notice.
