PTO Request Procedure. Requests for PTO or vacation should be inclusive of the entire block of time the nurse is requesting. The nurse will only need to use PTO equivalent to their FTE. A. The number of nurses who may be on pre-scheduled time off at one time is defined at the unit level. B.
