Common use of PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND SAFETY Clause in Contracts

PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND SAFETY. The Contractor shall comply with all Federal, State, Municipal and local laws, bylaws, ordinances, and regulations applicable to the Work under this Contract, including OSHA and MIOSHA. He shall furnish and use all material, safeguards, safety devices, and protective equipment as required by such laws, ordinances, or regulations. He shall also be responsible for taking any other needed actions to protect the life and health of the Contractor's and County's employees on the Work and safety of the public, and to protect the Work and adjoining utilities and property during the construction of the Project.
