Public Education Officer and Public Fire and Life Safety Educator. The Corporation and the Union recognize that the rate of pay for the classifications of Public Education Officer and Public Fire and Life Safety Educator take into account shift and weekend premium pay as may be required under the Agreement and recognizes the requirement to work an eight (8) hour shift with flexible and irregular hours. The regular working day shall be eight (8) consecutive hours between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. The employee shall be required to work a five (5) day week - not necessarily Monday to Friday - shall receive two (2) consecutive days off each work week and shall be entitled to overtime compensation as per the Collective Agreement.
