Section 2 Temporary employees are those employed (for less than the regular twelve (12) month year) to substitute (until the return to work) for regular full-time employees. These employees are not eligible for benefits.

Employment Definitions. (a) Full time employees work an average of 38 ordinary hours per week Monday - Friday, plus an accumulation of ordinary hours towards a monthly rostered day off. The calculation of the employees weekly ordinary hours towards RDO entitlements and rostering of RDO's shall be in accordance with the provisions in the Award.
(b) A reasonable amount of overtime shall for the purposes of this Agreement mean that employees are required to make themselves available to work up to 10 hours overtime per week when required to do so by the Company. This definition shall not limit an employee in choosing to volunteer to work more overtime within a week than I 0 hours or place a requirement on the Company to provide any overtime work to an employee. The total of ordinary and overtime hours worked on anyone day shall not exceed 14 hours for the day.
(c) Overtime is payable to a full time employee under this Agreement when they have either completed the normal hours of work for a shift or have worked 38 hours within a week. Part time and casual employees are not entitled to receive overtime payments until they have either completed the normal hours of work for a shift or worked in excess of 38 hours in a week.
