Common use of Public or Additional Holiday Clause in Contracts

Public or Additional Holiday. (PH) Overtime Overtime hours (outside of normal day-work hours i.e. 7.30am to 3.47pm) worked on a PH shall be paid for at the rate of triple ordinary time rates. Hours worked during normal day-work hours on a PH will provide the employee with his/her ordinary public holiday payment, plus double time culminating to a maximum of triple time for the normal day-work.
