Publicly Traded Units Sample Clauses
The 'Publicly Traded Units' clause defines how units or shares of an entity that are listed and traded on a public securities exchange are treated under the agreement. It typically outlines the conditions under which these units are considered publicly traded, such as being listed on recognized exchanges like the NYSE or NASDAQ, and may specify the implications for ownership transfers, reporting obligations, or triggering certain rights or restrictions. This clause ensures clarity regarding the status and handling of publicly traded units, helping to address issues related to liquidity, regulatory compliance, and the application of specific contractual provisions tied to public trading status.
