Purpose of Grievance Procedure. 1. To promote improved employer-employee relations by establishing grievance procedures on matters for which an appeal, hearing, or process is not provided by other regulations. 2. To provide that grievances shall be heard and settled as informally as possible. 3. To enable grievances to be settled promptly and as nearly as possible to the point of origin. 4. To afford employees individually, or through qualified representation, a systematic means of attempting to resolve issues and or obtaining considerations of questions and disputes.
