Common use of PURPOSE & SCOPE Clause in Contracts

PURPOSE & SCOPE. 1.01 The purpose of this Agreement is to maintain harmonious and mutually beneficial relationships between the Employer, the Alliance and the employees, and to set forth herein certain terms and conditions of employment upon which agreement has been reached through collective bargaining. 1.02 No employees covered by this Agreement shall be required or permitted to make a written or verbal agreement with the Employer or its representative which may conflict with the terms of this Agreement.
