The Authority shall operate · a fire department to provide fire protection and emergency medical services within the total territory of the Incorporating Municipalities and within those portions of the Approved Contracting Municipalities as specified in their written contracts with the Authority. In addition, the Authority shall provide fire protection and emergency medical services as specified in any other written agreement for fire protection and emergency medical services with the Authority Board, including but not limited to mutual aid agreements with other entities providing fire protection and emergency medical services.
