Pursuant to RCW 47. 64.160 all Union Members, who have given written authorization, shall fulfill a Union security obligation. The Employer shall enforce this obligation by deducting salary payments, on the receipt of written authorization from the Union, the uniform dues, including initiation fee, required for membership in the Union. For non-members, on receipt of the employee’s written consent/authorization from the Union, a fee equivalent to such uniform dues including initiation fee or a reduced fee as established by the Union, shall be deducted from salary payment for those exercising their rights (e.g. a First Amendment Right).
