QSF. The Parties agree that the QSF is intended to be a “Qualified Settlement Fund” under Section 468B of the Code and Treasury Regulations § 1.4168B-1, 26 C.F.R. § 1.468B-1 et seq., and will be administered by the Settlement Administrator as such. The Parties and Settlement Administrator shall treat the QSF as coming into existence as a Qualified Settlement Fund on the earliest date permitted as set forth in 26 C.F.R. § 1.468B-1, and such election statement shall be attached to the appropriate returns as required by law.
QSF. 61. The Administrator will apply for a tax ID number, if necessary, and take all necessary steps for the timely creation of the QSF prior to the fourteenth (14th) day from the Final Court Approval.
