Qualifications for Pay. In order to qualify for holiday compensation, the employee is required to work or be in a paid status (e.g., sick leave, annual leave) on his/her last scheduled work day prior to the holiday and his/her first scheduled work day following the holiday.

If the employee is eligible for any payment to which the Company contributes either directly or indirectly for the day on which Holiday is observed during the first fifteen weeks of the absence, the Company will supplement this payment to Employees who accept overtime for Saturday and/or Sunday, and then fail to show up for work will be treated as if the day or days missed were the same as a regular shift for purposes regarding Statutory Holidays, recorded sickness, etc. Two times the regular hourly rate shall be paid for all work performed on a designated Statutory Holiday.
