Qualifications for Salary Step Advancement. 14.5.1 A one (1) step increase is granted to a full-time employee who satisfactorily serves at least 75% of the teaching days in one school year. Employees serving less than full time shall advance one (1) step on the salary schedule at the beginning of the next school year. When an employee moves to full-time service, the employee shall be placed on the salary schedule based on full-time, including past credited service and part-time service as credited by STRS toward continuous service, with the exception of persons listed in the Side letter of Agreement dated August 28, 2000.
