Common use of Quality Improvement Committee Clause in Contracts

Quality Improvement Committee. A. Contractor shall implement and maintain a Quality Improvement Committee (QIC) designated by, and accountable to, the governing body; the committee shall be facilitated by the medical director or a physician designee. Contractor must ensure that subcontractors, who are representative of the composition of the contracted provider network including but not limited to subcontractors who provide health care services to Seniors and Persons with Disabilities and chronic conditions (such as asthma, diabetes, congestive heart failure), actively participate on the committee or medical sub-committee that reports to the QIC.‌‌‌‌‌
