Quarantine, Jury and Witness Duty. (a) Leave, without loss of pay, benefits or deduction from sick leave shall be granted to an employee who, because of exposure to a communicable disease, is quarantined or otherwise prevented by order or recommendation of the medical health authorities from attending to his or her duties.
