Range Safety. Range safety is an element of the Army Safety Program (ASP). The Office of the Director of Army Safety develops policies and guidance to ensure the safe operation of Army firing ranges. The Army Safety Office (ASO) manages and directs the Army Range Safety Program. The contractor shall conduct range safety operations.
