Common use of Ratio Clause in Contracts

Ratio. The ratio of mechanics to apprentices shall be as follows per job. It is understood the employer may employ more mechanics to apprentices than outlined below at their discretion. One (1) of the first two (2) Apprentices must be beyond first year level, provided such an Apprentice is available. Employer agrees to hire apprentices from out-of-work list regardless of apprenticeship level.
