R&D providers. The Project Owner and/or partners can enter into agreements with R&D providers in accordance with the framework that follows from the contract. The use of R&D providers does not exempt the Project Owner from its obligations and liability pursuant to the contract. The Project Owner is required to ensure that R&D providers comply with the rights and obligations that follow from the contract. Any changes in the composition of R&D providers as outlined in the agreement document will require the prior written approval of the Research Council. The Project Owner is obliged to ensure that the R&D providers deliver their services on terms and conditions that ensure that the Project Owner and partners do not receive indirect state aid from the R&D provider, in accordance with the EFTA Surveillance Authority’s guidelines on state aid for research and development and innovation.

  • Subcontractors The Contractor will not subcontract any work under the Contract without prior written consent of the Department.
