Common use of Reallocations - Higher Salary Range Maximum Clause in Contracts

Reallocations - Higher Salary Range Maximum. If a permanent employee is reallocated into a classification with a higher salary range maximum the employee will retain his or her existing appointment status as defined in sections 30.1, 30.2, and 30.3 if the employee has performed the higher level duties for six (6) months and meets the skills and abilities required of the position. If the reallocation is a result of a change in the duties of the position and the employee has not performed the higher-level duties for at least six (6) months and meets the skills and abilities of the position, the employee will serve a trial service period.
