Salary Scale. The salary scale applicable to Employees shall be set out hereinafter in the Wage Schedule.
Salary Scale. (a) The salary scale for instructors covered by this Agreement shall be as set out in Appendix A of this Agreement.
(b) The salary scale for Instructional Assistants covered by this Agreement shall be as set out in Appendix B of this Agreement.
(c) Stipends are set out in Appendix C of this Agreement.
(d) The placement formula is set out in Appendix D of this Agreement.
Salary Scale. 14.1 The salary scale is attached hereto and known as Appendix B.

1-1. 18 Step
Salary Scale. The schedule of salaries attached to this Agreement shall form a part thereof, and shall prevail and govern during the term of this Agreement. (Schedule "A" - Salary Schedule).
Salary Scale a. The salaries of all persons covered by this contract are set forth in the Appendix which is attached and made part of this Agreement.
b. Each teacher shall receive his/her salary in 26 equal bi-weekly installments September - August according to the provisions of Article VIII, Section 9. All Union related deductions for which the School Department generally makes payment between September and June shall be deducted on a 21-pay basis. Not included in these deductions would be personal savings and annuities. The first installment will be paid on the first Thursday school is in session.
c. Effective as of the 2014-2015 School Year, an 11th step shall be created. All teachers who were on Step 10 during the 2013- 2014 School Year and all teachers who were hired on Step 10 for the 2014-2015 School Year shall move to Step 11 for the 2014-2015 School Year. All teachers who were on Step 9 for the 2013-2014 School Year shall move to Step 10 for the 2014-2015 School Year. All other movement on step shall follow the normal course.
Salary Scale on Transfer (from part-time to full-time and Vice Versa)
Salary Scale the salary for the job categories as defined in article 21 or the higher salary determined for these job categories in the Company;
Salary Scale. 3.1.1 All occupational groups
(a) Subject to (b) below, the maximum step for all occupational groups other than psychologists will be step 12 and the maximum step for psychologists will be step 15 until 31 December 2019. From 1 January 2020, subject to (b) below, the maximum step for all occupational groups other than psychologists will increase to step 13 and the maximum step for psychologists will be step 16.
(b) Special Education Advisers, Advisers on Deaf Children, Kaitakawaenga and Early Intervention Teachers appointed after 15 September 2005 minimum qualification criteria apply in order to progress (or be appointed) above step 8. These employees may not normally be appointed or progress beyond step 8 of the scale until they have obtained the additional qualification identified in Appendix C of this agreement. From 1 January 2020 these employees will be able to progress one step beyond step 8 to step 9.
(c) All employees employed as fully qualified psychologists who are currently on step 4 or 5 of the salary scale, will transition to step 6 from the date of ratification. 3.1.2 Where an individual’s current salary is above the maximum rate listed for the individual’s occupational group, her/his salary level is protected. No further increases to the core salary will be paid until the difference between the individual’s salary and the salary rates in this agreement have abated. Increases that apply generally to this agreement will resume at that time as negotiated.
Salary Scale. The salary scale applicable to Employees shall be as set out hereinafter in Schedule A. Notwithstanding anything in this agreement to the contrary, any Employee now receiving a higher rate of pay than is called for under the wage scales herein shall not have such higher rate reduced during the term of this Agreement unless negotiated otherwise or is demoted. Employees shall be paid actual earnings on a basis.
