Rebidding the Work. The Designer/Builder is responsible for ensuring that the Designer/Builder’s proposed final pricing conforms with the Construction Cost Budget. As a result, if Designer/Builder’s final proposed pricing unreasonably exceeds the Construction Cost Budget, as determined by the District in its sole and absolute discretion, the District may, in its sole and absolute discretion, require the Designer/Builder to either:

Related to Rebidding the Work

  • Continuing the Work The Contractor shall carry on the Work and adhere to the progress schedule during all disputes, disagreements or alternative resolution processes with the Owner. The Contractor shall not delay or postpone any Work because of the pending resolution of any disputes, disagreements or processes, except as the Owner and the Contractor may agree in writing.

  • Completion of the Work The Contractor must obtain Material Completion as defined in Section 6.1.2 below prior to any occupancy of the Project.

  • SCOPE OF THE WORK The Contractor shall furnish all the materials, perform all of the Work, and do all things required by the Contract Documents.

  • Access to the Work The Design Professional and its representatives shall have access to the Work at all times while it is in progress, and shall comply with all job site safety rules.

  • Conditions Affecting the Work The Contractor shall be responsible for having taken steps reasonably necessary to ascertain the nature and location of the Work, and the general and local conditions, which can affect the Work or the cost thereof for any Job Order. Any failure by the Contractor to do so will not relieve him from responsibility for successfully performing the Work without additional expense to the County. The County assumes no responsibility for any understanding or representations concerning conditions made by any of its officers or agents prior to the execution of this Contract, unless such understanding or representations by the County are expressly stated in the Contract.

  • MINOR CHANGES IN THE WORK 7.4.1 The Architect will have authority to order minor changes in the Work not involving adjustment in the Contract Sum or extension of the Contract Time and not inconsistent with the intent of the Contract Documents. Such changes shall be effected by written order and shall be binding on the Owner and Contractor. The Contractor shall carry out such written orders without delay.

  • Changes in the Work The Department may order changes in the work, the Contract Amount being adjusted accordingly. Any monetary adjustment or any substantive change in the work shall be in the form of an amendment, signed by both parties and approved by the State Purchases Review Committee. Said amendment must be effective prior to execution of the work.

  • STOP WORK (a) SELLER shall stop Work for up to ninety (90) days in accordance with any written notice received from LOCKHEED XXXXXX, or for such longer period of time as the parties may agree and shall take all reasonable steps to minimize the incurrence of costs allocable to the Work during the period of Work stoppage.

  • Leaving the Building Employees may leave their assignments during the time encompassed by the employee’s workday upon receipt of permission from their principal, their supervisor, or the Employer’s appointed designee.

  • ENDING THE TENANCY 1) The tenant may end a monthly, weekly or other periodic tenancy by giving the landlord at least one month's written notice.
