Recall of Professional Employees (Revised January, 2005). a. Any qualifying tenured professional employee laid off shall retain the right to recall to the first available position within the employee’s area for which he/she is qualified, prior to the employment of outside candidates. Recall rights shall terminate two years after the termination of employment. b. It shall be the employee’s responsibility to notify the Superintendent’s office of his/her current mailing address. c. The professional employee, upon recall, will be placed on the salary schedule at the corresponding vertical step and horizontal column as when he/she left the District. Further, said employee will be given credit for any additional qualifying hours earned during the period between non-renewal and recall.
